Maryland is divided into 5 influenza surveillance regions: Western (Green), National Capital (Turquoise), Southern (Yellow), Baltimore Metropolitan (Red), and Eastern Shore (Blue). Influenza information is assessed at a regional and state level. This helps us determine our influenza activity level.
